Leonardo da Vinci is a famous Italian painter and scientist. Together with Raphael and Michelangelo, Da Vinci is also one of the representatives of the whole European Renaissance. This 3D printed Mona Lisa in memory of Leonardo da Vinci was displayed in the hall of the fourth phase of Shanghai wisdom Bay science and Technology Innovation Park, with an overall size of 4550 mm * 3500mm * 45mm, which is the largest 3D printing pixel painting in the world.

The pixel painting of Mona Lisa was 3D printed and nylon material was sintered by SLS laser. A total of 130 units were made, each of which was 350mm * 350mm * 45mm. Behind this painting, a set of automatic image conversion, AI automatic fractal, computer automatic modeling, and batch 3D printing file production system are developed. It can automatically fractal and optimize any picture according to the required elements. First, the original painting is divided into 130 pieces, and then each piece is divided into five kinds of small units. Through AI method, any picture can be decomposed into desired elements. For the 3D model file of automatic modeling, the number will be generated in the upper left corner of each model for production and assembly.
